We are Andrew and Bernadeth Hansell and have been married for 13 years. We have 2 lovely boys (aged 10 and 12) and 1 girl, daddy's little girl (aged 8), living in Sydney, Australia. We both work in the IT area which can involve long hours sitting on our bums and being stressed (i blame that for my hair loss). Our outlet to de-stress and keep those kids off the iPad and PS3 is to go out and seek new adventures, and see what the world has to offer.

 

If you can take anything from us, it is, don't be put off travelling with kids. Our first trip with our firstborn son was a drive to Bega when he was only 6 months old. Our first overseas trip was to New Zealand when our son was 1 year old. When our second son was born we went to Thailand with the wife expecting number 3. We travelled to the Philippines with all 3 kids, when our daughter was just 1 year old.

 

Most of our travels have been with a budget in mind. We usually do small trips for 1 or 2 years (day trips, weekends away camping), and when we have saved enough money we take a bigger trip, usually overseas. So this blog is for everyone, for the budget conscious or for those who have saved a bit more money.

 

So if you have the itching for adventure, with or without kids, but not sure where to go, check our blogs for ideas. We will do our best to provide an itinerary and as much costs as we can for our travels.
