Moreton island is the third largest sand island in the world. It is located 58 kilometres north-east of Brisbane QLD.
Day 1 :
We arrive in the afternoon. We are staying in villas just across from the beach.

The grounds are very well looked after.

Day 2 :
And excellent for a morning walk along the pathways and the beach.

One of the many things to do on the island is a ride on a Segway.

Day 3 :
Today we are taking a 2hour snorkelling tour of the Moreton Island Tangalooma wrecks. The wrecks consist of 15 vessels deliberately sunk to form a breakwall for small boats and a wreck dive and snorkelling site.

Some of the vessel wrecks.

Looking at the sunset from our balcony.

Day 4 :

Eating on Moreton Island can be expensive to eat. With the distance to the mainland where else are you going to go. There are about 3 restaurants on the island and a convenience store. Example of the pricing is 1 pizza which is only enough for 1 person cost about $20. Coffee was $5.50. Chicken Nuggets and Chips about $15.

Time for the boys to try parasailing.

Body Glove boat ride

Going for a ride on the ATV Quad bikes.

At night time you can book in for Dolphin feeding.

Tips
- Bring as much food as necessary for your length of stay. The prices for the restaurants and cafes are expensive. And buying anything from the convenience store is overpriced.
- i reckon the prices for the activities are quite reasonable, so try as many as you can.
- the kids rate the ATV Quad bike the best.
